Isle of Raasay Na Sia Peated Rye Single Cask is a cask-strength Hebridean single malt, bottled at 60.5% ABV. It is one of the six maturation styles behind Raasay's signature whisky.
The spirit is peated and was matured in an American oak cask that previously held rye whiskey. That brings peppery spice, vanilla and butterscotch to gentle island smoke.
The nose is sweet vanilla and butterscotch with toasted oak, black pepper and soft earthy smoke. The palate is full-bodied and warming, with caramel sweetness and a layer of peat. The finish is long and spicy, with vanilla, oak and gentle smoke.
