Isle of Raasay – Na Sia Unpeated Chinkapin (70cl, 62.2%)

This is an unpeated single malt from the Isle of Raasay distillery, bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Na Sia Single Cask Collection, where the distillery bottles individually the six cask types it otherwise marries together. Here the spirit matured in first fill Chinkapin oak casks, which were freshly charred and toasted before filling. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and free from colouring. The notes describe sweet toffee and dark fruit, with a ginger-led aroma.
