Isle of Raasay PX Sherry Quarter Cask #21/1231 The Awakening Series 2025 (70cl, 60.9%)

This is a peated single cask malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, matured in a PX sherry quarter cask. It was bottled at a cask strength of 60.9% in a 70cl bottle for the Awakening Series 2025 from Kirsch Import. The small cask brings dark fruit, raisins, plums and toffee to the smoky island style, while maritime, lightly salty notes stay clear alongside the sherry sweetness. The nose is dark fruit, ginger, honey, smoke and sea salt. On the palate come raisins, plum, toffee, spice and soft peat smoke. The finish is long, warm and slightly salty, with sherry and caramel.
