This is a cask strength single malt from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled at 61.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle in 2024. It uses the distillery's Na Sia recipe, which pairs light peat smoke with rich dark fruit. It is non-chill-filtered and keeps its natural colour.
The whisky matured in a mix of Bordeaux red wine casks, virgin Chinkapin oak casks and first-fill rye whiskey casks.
The nose has gentle smoke with ripe cherries, apricots and blackcurrants. The palate is full, with candied ginger, cinnamon and black pepper over a little vanilla. The finish is long and complex, showing vanilla, butterscotch, sandalwood and a hint of sea salt.
