Isle of Raasay The Draam

The Draam is a single malt from Raasay, first introduced in 2021. Master Distiller Alasdair Day created it from a recipe that uses six casks. It draws on an older style of Hebridean single malt, with a lighter, fragrant smokiness set against rich, dark fruit. The colour is honey gold with hints of red wine. The name is a play on the Scottish word for a measure of whisky and on the island's name, which has plenty of letter As. It replaces plainer names such as original or signature.
