Isle of Raasay – The Draam Lightly Peated (46.4%)

Isle of Raasay The Draam is the lightly peated single malt from the Hebridean distillery, regarded as the first legal distillery on an island with a long history of illicit distilling. It is made from Scottish barley malted with Highland peat. The whisky matures in a mix of rye whiskey casks, Chinkapin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks, using both peated and unpeated spirit. It is bottled at 46.4% without added colour and without chill-filtration. Light peat smoke is balanced by rich dark fruit.
