A 15 year old blended Scotch whisky from J & B, bottled at 43% ABV in a one litre bottle.
The nose is light and gently mature, with honeyed malt, vanilla cream, orchard fruits and a hint of heather, over polished oak, almond and a faint cereal sweetness. The palate is silky, with golden barley, toffee, baked apple and lemon peel, supported by gentle spice, light oak tannin and a touch of buttered biscuit.
The finish is clean and of medium length, with vanilla, malt and light oak spice, lifted by a delicate floral note.
