This is Jack Daniel's Old No.7 Tennessee whiskey in a 1 litre replica of the 1895 bottle, bottled in 1992. The colour is gold.
The nose is waxy, grassy and mineral, notes more often found in Highland Scotch, with vanilla, touches of burnt syrup and a little toasted wood. It is light, without heavy caramel. The palate is sweet and oily, with strawberry and pineapple sweets, then liquorice and a little curry. The finish is medium long, still sweet and fruity, with pepper and hints of bitter chocolate.
