A Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, drawn from a single barrel and bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle on 23 February 2022.
The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, and the whisky is aged in new, charred white oak barrels.
The nose is deep caramel and brown sugar, with vanilla custard, toffee apple, a touch of salt and a hint of Angostura bitters. The palate is rich and viscous, with banana bread, citrus oils, roasted nuts and a warming spice. The finish is long and sweet, with coffee, clove, toasted oak and molasses.
