Jack Ryan Beggars Bush 12 Years Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

This is a 12 year old Irish single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, from the Ryan family of Dublin. The family has run the Beggars Bush pub on Haddington Road since 1913, and making whiskey is part of their tradition. From 1913 until 1940, Thomas Ryan regularly bought malt casks and matured the whiskey in bourbon, sherry and port casks. Production fell away sharply after 1940. Today the family, now in its third generation, makes Irish whiskey again.
