James Oliver Rye is an American rye whiskey from Oregon, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. It was matured for a minimum of two years in new white oak casks given an alligator toast, number 4. The nose brings roasted nuts, fruit muesli and honey with black pepper. On the palate come roasted caramel and chestnuts, sweet vanilla and buttery pastry with rye notes. The finish is lightly peppery and spicy, with a hint of cinnamon.
