Jameson Irish Whiskey is a blended Irish whiskey made in Dublin since 1780. It combines single pot still whiskey, from malted and unmalted barley, with grain whiskey, and it is triple distilled.
The whiskey is matured for at least four years in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is described as smooth, with no peat smoke. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
On the nose it is lightly floral, with spicy oak, vanilla, fresh apple and citrus. The palate brings spice, creamy vanilla, nuts and a touch of sweet sherry, and the finish is long and silky with oak and honey.
