Jane Street The Sherried One (48.5%)

The Sherried One is a single malt Scotch whisky from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, part of the Jane Street Collection, which looks at what different cask styles bring to Scotch whisky. It is vatted in small batches and bottled at 48.5% ABV. Sherry influence is the focus of the maturation, in carefully selected oak. The sherry sits alongside the underlying malt rather than covering it. It is typically described as dried fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice, with rich sweetness and a gently nutty character.
