This is a Grande Champagne cognac from Jean Fillioux, composed from eaux-de-vie distilled between 1965 and 1970. It was bottled at cask strength, 45.3% vol, in a 70cl bottle.
The cognac matured in French oak and comes from a single cask, with an outturn of 162 bottles. It carries no added colouring or sugar and has not been chill-filtered.
The aromas centre on deep ripe fruit and fine spices, with a subtle note of wood from the long years in oak.
