Jean-Marc Roulot Teurons 2023 Beaune Premier Cru (75cl)

This is a red Beaune Premier Cru from Jean-Marc Roulot, and the first vintage of Teurons under the Jean-Marc Roulot label. The vineyard is a newly acquired 1.02 hectare parcel next to Beaune Grèves. The grapes were picked in two sections, from above and below, and vinified separately before being assembled at racking. Foot treading was very light. The nose is perfumed, with cherry, alpine strawberry, sweet red berries, orange zest, peonies and spice. The palate is medium-bodied, supple and melting, and the finish is floral.
