Jefferson's Reserve is a bourbon blended from several bourbons. The story began in 1997, when a 15-year-old bourbon was found that seemed rich and complex enough to be brought to market. In 2003 other bourbons were added to marry with that original Jefferson's Reserve.
More than half of the blend still comes from the original mash bill, with up to three further bourbons added for extra flavour and complexity.
It is described as big and sophisticated, with plenty of flavour up front, real weight at mid palate and a deep finish.
