Jefferson's Very Small Batch is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys, bottled at 41.15% in a 75cl bottle. It has a light bronze colour.
The nose gives classic bourbon notes of caramel, honey, vanilla and mild spice. The entry is lively, with vanilla, baked bread and buttered popcorn, and at mid palate molasses, burnt sugar, oak resin, maple and honey compete for attention. Pecan pie, light caramel and spice cake also show.
The finish is long and woody, with shortbread biscuits, and is semisweet and assertive.
