Jim Beam Black is a bourbon matured for seven years and bottled at 45% ABV. It shows the richer, stronger side of one of America's best-known bourbons, and is intended for drinking neat rather than mixing.
The nose is sweet caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with hints of roasted peanut, maple syrup and soft baking spice. On the palate come toffee, sweet corn and vanilla fudge, followed by warm oak, nutmeg and a subtle toasted note. The finish is lasting caramel, gentle spice and a warming oak sweetness.
