Jim Beam Lineage 15 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. This is Batch 2, the second release in the Lineage series. Lineage is a collaboration between seventh-generation master distiller Fred Noe and his son Freddie Noe, an eighth-generation distiller, who selected the barrels together. At 15 years old it is among the oldest age-stated bourbons released under the Jim Beam name. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is rich and oak-forward, with toffee, dark sugar and spice, and the finish is long and warming, with lingering oak and caramel.
