Jim Beam Rye is a Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey in a pre-prohibition style, bottled at 40% (80 proof) in a 700ml bottle. It is aged in new charred white oak barrels.
The character is a dry, spiced rye with a long, soft finish, made in the heart of Kentucky.
The nose shows rye spice with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is peppery, with cinnamon and mint, and a slightly sweet note comes through at the end.
