John Sleeman & Sons Rye Whisky

John Sleeman & Sons Rye Whisky is a Canadian blended rye made at Spring Mill Distillery in Guelph, Ontario. It combines corn whisky matured in seasoned American oak, rye whisky matured in first-fill American oak and rye whisky matured in new Canadian oak. The nose opens with sweet vanilla, charred orange marmalade, caramel and gentle oak. On the palate it is smooth and fruit-forward, with ripe pear, vanilla and toasted caramel alongside oak and a little rye spice. The finish is warming, with black pepper, toasted caramel and gentle oak.
