This is a 12-year-old Johnnie Walker Black Label blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV. The edition marks the centenary of The Striding Man, the figure associated with the brand, and keeps to the classic Black Label profile.
The nose is rich and smoky, with toffee, dried fruit, vanilla and a touch of spice. On the palate come caramel, dark chocolate and malt, with a gentle wisp of smoke. The finish is long and warming, with oak, honey and lingering spice.
