Johnnie Walker 'Black Label' is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky, an official bottling from around 2012, at 40% ABV. It has a gold colour.
The nose is slightly smoky, with distinct herbal notes in the background and a little aniseed alongside toasted bread, orange marmalade and plain malt. The palate is toasty and caramelly, with smoked tea and liquorice, and is well balanced. The finish is medium, with black tea and a dry aftertaste.
