Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky, here in the Paris Limited Edition design. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 1 litre bottle and was distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland.
The nose is clean and bold, with pear and other white fruit, sweet vanilla and caramel, toasted oak, toffee, honey, figs and raisins, over a soft peat smoke. The palate is rich, creamy and velvety, with toffee, sweet berries, ginger and pepper; Speyside malts such as Cardhu and Clynelish add fruity sweetness, and Islay's Caol Ila gives structure. The finish is warm, soft and long, with wood smoke and a little peppery spice.
