Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Years Old The Jane Walker Edition (75cl, 40%)

This is Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Years Old in its Jane Walker Edition, a blended Scotch whisky at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The edition name is printed on the label. The nose is dense and well balanced, with molasses, toffee, raisins and caramel, then pumpkin spice, creamy vanilla and a little orange peel, over soft peat smoke and toasted oak. On the palate come toasted butter, smoked honey and sultanas, followed by orchard fruit, toffee and dark chocolate. The finish is medium to long and warm, with gentle smoke, baking spices and a touch of oak.
