This is Johnnie Walker Black Label in a ceramic decanter, a special edition of the blended Scotch. The whisky inside is made from whiskies aged for at least 12 years.
The nose mixes sweet, oaky and smoky aromas with winter spice, treacle and white pepper. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with wood smoke, dry spice, barley, cereal, creamy toffee and a distinct herbal note.
The finish is long and quite fruity, with sultanas and mixed peel.
