Johnnie Walker Blender's Batch Espresso Roast (50cl, 43.2%)

Espresso Roast is an experimental Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch release, a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 43.2% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It was made with grain roasted darker than usual, to bring out deep coffee and chocolate notes. The nose combines cinnamon, chocolate truffle, soft smoke, chicory and coffee. On the palate there is vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso, fudge and malt. The finish returns to espresso and dark chocolate, with hints of cardamom.
