Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch Espresso Roast (50cl, 43.2%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, part of the Blenders' Batch series and marked EXP#9. It is bottled at 43.2% in a 50cl bottle, and was distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland. Coffee runs through the whole dram. The nose has pronounced cinnamon, chocolate truffle, chicory and dominant coffee over a soft background smoke. The palate is creamy and textured, close to tiramisu, with dark chocolate, espresso and fudge, and a controlled bitterness like roasted coffee beans. The finish is long and persistently dry, with espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of cardamom.
