It is a limited release in the Blenders' Batch series, an experiment in finishing Scotch whisky in Red Rye casks. The blenders wanted to see how the whisky would interact with the character of American rye barrels. The result is a smooth, slightly sweet blend with an elegant spiciness. It shows sweet grain and light vanilla, with a subtle rye spice. The finish is warm and creamy, with a hint of caramel.
