Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch Rum Cask Finish (50cl, 40%)

Blenders' Batch Rum Cask Finish is a blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, finished in rum casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 50cl bottle and marked EXP#8 on the label. The nose is sweet, with caramelised tropical fruit, pineapple and green banana, then sugar cane syrup, creamy vanilla, honey and a little cinnamon. On the palate it is soft and fresh, with rum-soaked raisins, dulce de leche, exotic fruit and chocolate honeycomb, the sweetness giving way to ginger and nutmeg. The finish is of medium length, with demerara sugar, milk chocolate, cinnamon and a gentle spiced warmth.
