Johnnie Walker Blue Label 1990s Korean Import (75cl, 43%)

A late 1990s bottling of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. It was imported for the South Korean market, which a Korean-language back label shows. Blue Label was introduced in 1992 and carries no age statement. It is chosen for style and quality from a small proportion of casks. The bottle is blue-green flint glass inspired by John Walker's nineteenth-century design, with a slanting label and gold capsule. The back label reproduces Alexander Walker's 1888 line, "Our Blend Cannot Be Beat." The whisky is usually described as velvety, with honey, dried fruit, vanilla, gentle smoke and polished oak.
