This is a blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker's Blue Label range, issued as the 'City X Mars' edition of the Cities of the Future 2220 series. The series was designed in collaboration with the digital artist Luke Halls.
The bottle design imagines a thriving Martian colony 200 years from now, and it is sold as a limited edition.
On the nose it is oaky and spiced, with dried fruit, pastries, berry fruits, aniseed, cedar and citrus. The palate brings toffee, light smoke, chocolate and grassy notes, and the finish is floral and oaky with Highland-style smoke, honey and spice.
