This is Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky, in the Limited Edition design made for Edinburgh. It is bottled at 40% and comes in a box.
The blend is drawn from hand-selected casks and is known for a smooth, silky texture.
The nose is mellow and rounded, with dry smoke balanced by raisin sweetness. On the palate come vanilla, honey and rose petals, moving on to zesty orange, hazelnut, sherry and dark chocolate. The finish is rich and long, with a smokiness that lingers.
