This is Johnnie Walker Blue Label in a Hong Kong Duty Free Edition, a blended Scotch bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle and supplied in a box.
The edition marks the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover to China, and the bottle design draws on the city's landmarks. Production was limited to 2,400 bottles, each individually numbered beginning with 852, Hong Kong's area code.
The nose offers dark chocolate, hazelnut and caramel. On the palate there is delicate honey with smoke, and the finish is smooth and lasting.
