Johnnie Walker Blue Label King George V Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label King George V is a blended Scotch whisky made to honour the king who granted the distillery its first Royal Warrant in 1934. It is built from hand-selected whiskies from distilleries that were working during his reign, among them some from the now-closed Port Ellen. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is sweet and smoky from Port Ellen, followed by orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon. On the palate, spice and dried fruit are balanced by vanilla, with dark chocolate, toffee and roasted nuts. The finish is long, with coastal smoke building steadily.
