Johnnie Walker Blue Label Legendary Eight is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky made for the 200th anniversary of Johnnie Walker, which dates from John Walker opening his doors in 1820. It is blended from whiskies of eight distilleries: Oban, Blair Athol, Lagavulin, Teaninich, Brora, Cambus, Port Dundas and Carsebridge. The nose is brown sugar, soft fruit and sweet wood, with hints of green apple and gentle peat. The palate is sweet, with stone fruit, the tartness of apple and cocoa. The finish is soft and lightly peppery, with strokes of smoke.
