Johnnie Walker Blue Label Pittyvaich is a blended Scotch whisky from the Ghost and Rare series, the fourth release in that limited edition range. It is Johnnie Walker's reworking of the casks left from Pittyvaich, a Speyside distillery that closed in 1993 after only 19 years. The nose is sweet, with fresh autumn apple and spiced gingerbread in careful balance. The palate is aromatic, with dark fruit and wild berries, and the finish is light, with cream caramel and cinnamon.
