Johnnie Walker Blue Label Port Dundas Special Blend Ghost and Rare

This is a Scotch blend from the Ghost and Rare series within Johnnie Walker Blue Label, made from eight rare whiskies. At its heart are grain whiskies from Port Dundas, a distillery built in 1811 and closed in 2010. The blend also draws on whisky from the closed Cambus and Brora distilleries, along with rare stocks from Cameronbridge, Glenkinchie, Clynelish, Dailuaine and Auchroisk. The nose is creamy vanilla with a hint of wood spice. On the palate come creamy wood, vanilla and soft smoke, with spiced apples, peaches and berries. The finish is red berries and lingering smoke.
