It is described as a younger, spikier and more rebellious relation of Johnnie Walker Black Label, with a deep, brooding intensity. The nose combines sweet smoke with spicy aromas. On the palate there is rich peat alongside dried fruits and creamy vanilla, leading into a long, powerful and warming finish.
