Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a smokier, more intense take on the brand's Black Label.
The blend contains a higher share of smoky malts, and part of it is matured in heavily charred oak casks.
The nose is intense smoke with dried fruit, vanilla, orange peel and light spice. The palate is full and powerful, with peat smoke, caramel, dark chocolate and spicy oak. The finish is long and warm, with lingering smoke, spice and a subtle sweetness.
