Johnnie Walker Extra Special Black Label is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1980s, in a 1.125 litre bottle at 40% ABV. It is a blend of whiskies aged for at least 12 years, drawn from various regions of Scotland.
The nose combines white pepper, winter spice and citrus, with hints of oak and subtle smoke. On the palate there is woodsmoke, cereal, creamy toffee and herbal sweetness. The finish is long and fruity, with sultanas, citrus and smoke lingering.
