This is Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve in its Exclusive Travellers' Edition, a blended Scotch whisky made for travel retail, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. It was relaunched in 2012 and is built around Clynelish malt.
The nose is soft and gentle, with smoked peach crumble, rose water and wildflowers, and a faint seaweed note in the background. The palate is silky, with honeydew melon, satsumas, caramel and vanilla sweetness, plus some oak bitterness and oily melted toffee. The finish is medium to long, as soft, smooth smoke comes through.
