Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve (70cl, 40%)

Gold Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, bottled by John Walker & Sons at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The label calls it The Master Blender's Reserve, made from finest malt and grain whiskies, and marks the house as established in 1820. The nose is led by heather honey, toffee and buttery caramel, with ripe peach and apple, a little fresh banana, vanilla and very faint peat smoke. The palate is creamy, with tropical fruit, vanilla and deep honey, then raisins, walnuts, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is warm and medium to long, with oak, toffee and a soft smoky aftertaste.
