Island Green is a Johnnie Walker Special Release blended malt at 43%, in a one-litre bottle and without an age statement. Caol Ila provides the dominant peat, alongside Clynelish, Glenkinchie and Cardhu.
The colour is rich gold. The nose is soft peat with cereals, vanilla and light pepper, with a faint medicinal edge. On the palate, smoke, oak and a touch of oily fish give way, with water, to caramel, marmalade and pepper. The finish is medium to long, with lemon pepper, oak and drying ash.
