This is Johnnie Walker Red Label, a blended whisky from the 1970s, in a one litre bottle with its original box. The colour is full gold. The nose is malty and nutty with a little smoke, garden bonfire, barbecue and flowers. The palate is creamy and very smoky, with obvious peat, spices, orange liqueur, fudge and pepper. The finish is long and peppery.
