Red Label Limited Edition is a blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, labelled A Bigger, Bolder Taste. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle by John Walker & Sons, a little above the usual strength for this label. The nose is aromatic and spiced, with heather honey, citrus, orange peel, cinnamon and pepper over soft smoke and a touch of malt. The palate opens sweet with creamy vanilla, toffee and caramel, then turns woodier, with fruit cake, aniseed and a sweet-chilli spice. The finish is long, warm and spicier, with the smoke staying in the background.
