Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old in its Jane Walker Edition, a limited release that celebrates women's contributions to whisky-making. It first appeared in 2018 for International Women's Day and was released again in 2019 around the International Women's March in Washington, D.C. A portion of the profits supports women's causes.
The blend is made from a range of malts, including Cardhu and Clynelish.
The nose is floral and lightly nutty, with rose water, salted almonds, green apple, nougat and caramel chews. The palate is light and silky, with lime, lemon, vanilla and coconut leading to nutty milk chocolate. The finish is of good length and ends on a savoury note.
