Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is an Extra Añejo tequila made from blue agave and aged in new French and American oak for between three and 30 years. Each bottle is numbered, dated and sealed by hand in wax, and comes in a wooden case.
The 2025 edition's case was designed by the artist Ana Segovia, whose work questions gender roles and Mexican masculinity. It uses colours traditionally forbidden in charrería, such as pink, purple and orange.
The nose offers vanilla, star anise and cinnamon, with toasted tobacco, hazelnut and coffee beans. The palate is warm and powerful, with dates, syrupy peaches and orange peel, ending in caramel and long woody notes.
