A 12 year old Island single malt from Jura, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Old Particular range at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single refill hogshead that gave 375 bottles.
The spirit was distilled in February 2008 and bottled in March 2020.
The nose is characterful, clean and crisp, with spiced citrus and barley. The palate opens with a distinct floral quality and warms to juicy zest, cereal and caramel. The finish turns herbal.
