Jura – 12 Year Old Raise Your Spirits (Gleann Mor)

This is a 12 year old Jura bottled independently by Gleann Mor, an Edinburgh-based independent bottler. Raise Your Spirits is a single malt made on the Isle of Jura. It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in sherry casks. The character is gentle, with a subtle maritime influence, warming oak and sweet spice. It is usually described as honeyed and sweet, with dried fruit richness and a delicate hint of smoke.
